FAQ's /SHIPPING INFORMATION

SHIPPING
We take great care in packing our items. All of our cake toppers come in a handmade silk bag for future storage. We use bio-degradable peanuts for packing our boxes  and wrap the delicate areas of the designs.

All cake toppers are shipped through USPS  Priority mail and arrive within 3-5 business days. There is a delivery confirmation charge included in your shipping with the cake toppers so I can be sure they reach you. I ship the remainder of my items UPS ground. You are more than welcome to upgrade your shipping for the extra cost. *Upgraded and/or insured shipping is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED on all wedding orders or merchandise orders with urgent and important deadlines.

 Insurance is an add-on for $1.75 for cake toppers, and $2.25  guest books and pen sets, card boxes, etc. It is recommended that you add on insurance if your order is to arrive close to your wedding date

 ***PLEASE UNDERSTAND: Once your order ships, it is no longer our responsibility. Although we'll do our best to help with the tracking, we can not guarantee that your order will make it to you by the date you need it by, due to circumstances beyond our control.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
We do ship internationally and welcome all orders. If you are outside the United States, please contact us for shipping information.

***We are not in control of packages once they have shipped out and therefor do not offer refunds on orders delivered later than expected due to delays or issues within the Postal System or UPS

Are the cake toppers heavy? TOP
No - not at all. The bases are all made from a lightweight polymer and are hollow. All of the designs incorporate a small amount of seashells that weigh very little.

Are all of the designs in stock? TOP
For the most part, every design you see is in stock and generally ship within 5-7 days, which means you will get your order within two weeks of ordering.  I generally will state what shipping time is running on my home page.

Will you custom make your items to match my wedding color scheme? TOP
Absolutely! There is an up-charge of 10%  of the cost of the item. We are running about 2-3 weeks on custom orders.

How are returns handled? TOP
Due to the nature of the business, All sales are final unless there is a damage to an item. Customer pays for return of item and I will reimburse for shipping expense after item is replaced and customer is completely satisfied.

If a return is accepted for any other reason, customer is responsible for shipping charges, credit card fees and re-stocking charge of $10.00.

May I exchange? TOP
Yes, if you change your mind and decide you made the wrong decision and want to exchange (as an example) one topper for another, we will be more than happy to do that. Customer pays shipping expense.

I received my Topper and it looks slightly different than the picture. TOP
Yes, there will be some slight variance in the product you receive. Each item is handmade.No two toppers are identical. And since they are made from real seashells and not manufactured from plastic they are a product of mother nature and may have some natural flaws. We believe that this adds to the natural beauty of these items and makes them truly "unique". Cracks and discolorations are natural in mother nature's color palette and her creations. A real break or flaw will be obvious. We pack these items with great care and love and have had few damages over the years.
